RITS actively engages in product engineering and development utilising Solid Works software. Our goal is to identify ways in which efficiency and safety can be improved with some simple modifications.

Some of our current activities include the following:

Toilet door modifications to improve operations by extending time between failures on the bi-parting PCC door system.

Water Heater modifications to minimise the risk of legionella.

A system to reduce the amount of liquid entering the CET – thus extending campaign between tanking.

Self-sufficient stand-alone PRM compliant Universal Access Toilet (UAT) for use on train stations.
